Who We Are
Mark 3:27 "But no one can enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. Then indeed he may plunder his house."
We are the strong men, We do not have the option to do nothing.
We DO advocate preparedness. strengthening our minds, preparing our bodies and steeling our convictions is a part of our Christian moral imperative. There are many ways to fight evil. Too often, we ignore that actual fight in favor of the spiritual one. When evil decides lay a hand on your loved ones, your hands should respond swiftly, confidently and with assurance of righteousness.
We Do believe we have a moral obligation to be prepared to fight and to defend. Ignoring the fact that evil exists and failing to prepare for it is not an option available for Christians. We must prepare to confront evil.
We DO believe that the bible supports these stands. Christians have a moral right and even a moral obligation to protect and defend their loved ones, those weaker than them and those in their care for any reason.
We DO love our enemies. As such, we have none until they make us theirs. When the fight is done, we forgive.
We DO avoid using lethal force if it is not necessary.
We always maintain a humble approach that allows us to be used as the Lord requires, not as we desire.
We do follow the urgings of the Spirit. We remain flexible so that the Spirit can use as as the body of Christ.
Everything we do is with respect, integrity and wisdom.
Last, and kind of important… We will NOT allow our Christian attitude of forgiveness and Mercy to to be misinterpreted. We will rise to our obligation to protect our loved ones. We will not be used that way. The enemy depends on our misinterpretation of the virtues to skirt past us. He depends on us to stand paralyzed in fear. To do nothing.
